The Conference is
organized, but not restricted, to the following topics:
Waste Management:
strategies, sustainability, markets and initiatives; Innovative
waste treatment technologies; Recycling of materials;
Waste-to-energy and RDF; Municipal solid wastes management;
Landfill: design, construction, leachate and biogas management;
Hazardous wastes treatment; Social factors and education on waste
management; Specific waste-streams (agri. and animal wastes,
construction and demolition, electronics, used tires, nanowastes.);
Legislative and Policy Framework; Agricultural and Forestry solid by
products; Life cycle; Risk assessment; Environmental impact
assessment
Authors wishing to
contribute to the conference are invited to submit abstracts before
April 30, 2013. A dedicated volume with all final papers accepted to
WASTES 2013 will be submitted to Scopus and Thomson ISI (Web of
Science) for indexing. A considerable number of leading papers will
be selected for publication, after a peer review process on a
special issue of Waste Management, published by Elsevier, and on
Waste and Biomass Valorization published by Springer.
